Hi,

Just so you can reconsider (at no cost), I reinstated the init script 
daemon in the experimental -0.5 branch, so you may think if its worth 
having installed just to keep the many angry debianites happy. I am 
neither for or against the init script idea, so i will leave the ball in 
your court and back whatever decision you make on this issue.
