[pkg-wpa-devel] Does "managed mode" work together with wpa_gui?

wpa_gui is a graphical frontend to the wpasupplicant control interface.
You can also save your settings to a wpasupplicant config file. We
didn't have wpa_gui in mind when implementing the ifupdown integration.

Why not? wpagui is a separate package, and it is not obvious to me how
you connect a graphical front-end to 'managed mode'.
