Successfully so. Association now happens instantly. Thanks for your

I now have two proposals.

(1)
The documentation should say that wpa-ap-scan 2 considers parameters
configured from the command line the same way than parameters read
from a config file

(2)
It could be documented that wpa-ap-scan 2 is a possible solution for
delayed association to WEP-"protected" networks with hidden ssid.

You might close this bug any time now, I leave it open as a reminder
for the documentation issues.
