Hi again,
First of all, thanks you so much for sponsoring the previous uploads.
One curiosity, did you notice that 0.5.3+20060522-2 was uploaded to
unstable, and not experimental?
$ apt-cache policy wpasupplicant
wpasupplicant:
Installed: 0.5.3+20060522-2
Candidate: 0.5.3+20060522-2
Version table:
*** 0.5.3+20060522-2 0
500 http://ftp.au.debian.org unstable/main Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
0.5.3+20060522-1 0
1 http://ftp.au.debian.org experimental/main Packages
While, I am not sad to see that package enter SID at all, and I don't
think there is need to panic about this, I need to point out two
important things:
1. It breaks support for the madwifi package in sid (I must haul ass
now to prepare a new madwifi package)
2. It included a kinda experimental roaming solution, wpa_action [1]
along with some logrotate stuff. Noone yet commented on wpa_action.
Thanks, Kel.
