Hi.

The updated packages can be found at:

http://users.tpg.com.au/sigm/misc/pkg-wpa/

0.4.9-1 is for unstable. 0.5.3-2 is for experimental.

@ Kyle, can you please check and upload these to the debian archive?

Please note that in the experimental package, I have included madwifi-ng
support, at the penalty of not supporting madwifi-old at all. As
upstream developer/supporter of madwifi.org and active member of
pkg-madwifi team for Debian, I think its time to push madwifi-ng into
debian before etch. There are many reasons for this action:

    * madwifi.org is in the process of deprecating madwifi-old, only
madwifi-ng will receive user support and code fixes in the near future
    * there have been reports that madwifi-old is not behaving well with
linux kernels >= 2.6.16, and this may well be the chosen kernel
      version for etch
    * considering above, it'd be nice to have madwifi-ng in etch, to
      facilitate sane backports post-etch
    * even though madwifi-ng supports wext, some people are not using
kernels >=2.6.14 for one reason or another, and wext support is
quite new, and far from perfect at this stage (not to mention the
fact I currently have to fork this package for the purposes of
testing changes to the driver using wext and private ioctl's)

An update to the current madwifi-ng package in experimental is being
coordinated.

Thanks, Kel.
