CC'ing pkg-wpa mailing list, and not hostap due to debian specific content.

This sounds really cool. And something that I think would be worth
having in debian. What do other pkg-wpa people think?

I know next to nothing about python, but I've just bought a book (Python
in a Nutshell, O'Reilly) and am keen to learn a bit. One of the
stumbling blocks for me when approaching a new programming adventure is
applying it to something useful, and py{wpa,iw} look like the perfect
catalyst for me to get excited about learning python (because I also
have an unnatural fascination with wireless devices).

BTW, can you point me to other python resources that have been of value
for yourself?

Thanks, Kel.
