What made you choose wpasupplicant package to report bug to? How did you
configure wpasupplicant and what steps do you take to determine that there
is a problem?

Please provide more information, as it stands there is not much for me to
do except make assumptions about what may be the problem, like:

* missing firmware files for wireless interface
* rfkill switch has disabled wireless interface
* wpasupplicant package is incorrectly configured in /etc/network/interfaces
  or
* a graphical user interface is not configuring wpa_supplicant correctly
