I have the exact same problem described in this bug but with the ipw2200:
Wireless event: cmd=0x8b15 len=20
Wireless event: new AP: 00:00:00:00:00:00
Disassociation notification
Setting scan request: 0 sec 100000 usec
Added BSSID 00:23:eb:e4:f7:00 into blacklist
CTRL-EVENT-DISCONNECTED bssid=00:23:eb:e4:f7:00 reason=0
Disconnect event - remove keys
wpa_driver_wext_set_key: alg=0 key_idx=0 set_tx=0 seq_len=0 key_len=0
wpa_driver_wext_set_key: alg=0 key_idx=1 set_tx=0 seq_len=0 key_len=0
wpa_driver_wext_set_key: alg=0 key_idx=2 set_tx=0 seq_len=0 key_len=0
wpa_driver_wext_set_key: alg=0 key_idx=3 set_tx=0 seq_len=0 key_len=0
wpa_driver_wext_set_key: alg=0 key_idx=4 set_tx=0 seq_len=0 key_len=0
ioctl[SIOCSIWENCODEEXT]: Invalid argument
Driver did not support SIOCSIWENCODEEXT
If I try to use the nl80211 i obtain:
nl80211: Driver does not support authentication/association or connect
commands
Googling I read that the nl80211 driver is for newer card.
The connection works well for some seconds then I have a disconnect, a
reconnect, ecc.
There is a way to have a stable connection with the 2200BG?
Thanks in advance.
