It seems that CONFIG_IBSS_RSN has dropped back out of the package. At least this is the case for wpa_1.0-2 source in jessie.

I added "CONFIG_IBSS_RSN=y" to "debian/config/wpasupplicant/linux" before compiling, and the resulting deb installed cleanly on my fresh (installed yesterday) jessie box, and gave me ISBSS RSN support.

It would be nice to see this included in the package, as IBSS RSN is a requirement for the mesh networking project that we wil be trying to get into the Debian repos (Commotion Wireless[1]), which will provide an applet allowing network manager users to join and create secure ad-hoc networks.

Happy to provide patches, feedback and testing as needed to see that this change makes it in to jessie. We will definitely be testing this feature in our own build tests. The change is really only that one line in the config file.

Best,
