Group rekeying is a normal status message, so this part is nothing to
worry about.

Regarding this, I don't think this is a problem with wpasupplicant.
Rather it's reporting a problem with talking to the kernel module,
which apparently seems to be most common with Intel wlan cards
(iwlwifi). In case you do indeed have an Intel wlan card, you can try
to experiment with the 11n_disable kernel parameter for the iwlwifi
module (e.g. "modprobe -r iwlwifi", "modprobe iwlwifi 11n_disable=1" or
2, 4, 8). If your symptoms disappear with 11n support being disabled,
this should be re-assigned to the linux kernel instead, but as this
seems to be a recurring problem with iwlwifi for years, I don't hold
many hopes that it will be fixed any time soon.
