Thanks to Eduard Bloch at [bug] I've tried adding

[device]
wifi.scan-rand-mac-address=no

to /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf

and updating wpasupplicant... and voilá, WiFi is on again.

I don't know if it's a bug in the driver, NM or wpasupplicant, but at least 
things now work.
