Package: wpasupplicant
Version: 2:2.4-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
There are patches available upstream that change the way wpasupplicant
picks the network to connect to, in case you have both 5ghz and 2.4ghz
networks with the same SSID. It'll check throughput, instead of just
plain SNR/signal strength.
The following patches on top of wpasupplicant should make this work:
http://w1.fi/cgit/hostap/commit/?id=b4d56efb1a237e4ed91de97b1615747082de7fd3
http://w1.fi/cgit/hostap/commit/?id=14204148781cf8e64827eae12dffacc869586073
Please consider including these.
Kind regards
Jan
