I am on Debian testing with 2.3.1+deb8u4 being the last working version in conjunction with network manager.

So wpasupplicant 2.5-2+v2.4-3b1 is broken for me without the option

"wifi.scan-rand-mac-address=no" in the networkmanager.conf

The network-manager retries to connect all the time but with no success.

I am using this USB Stick to connection to my wireless:

AVM GmbH FRITZ WLAN N v2 [RT5572/rt2870.bin]

Attached you can find the dmesg output with wpasupplicant 2.5-2+v2.4-3b1 after doing a

"service network-manager restart"
