Sorry for not getting earlier to this, but it seems that you've
managed to build and test libssh on stable yourself. I've now built
and uploaded my libssh testpackages to
http://people.debian.org/~siretart/debian/squeeze-backports/

Laurent, have you heard back from upstream about this issue? In order
to build for stable, I had to revert the multiarch commit. In order to
faciliate this backport, I've uploaded my changes to
http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=collab-maint/libssh.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/squeeze-backports.
Please let me know what you think about this matter.
