This feature is currently neither available in X2Go Client nor in  
PyHoca-GUI (another X2Go client).

I have forwarded this issue as a feature request / wishlist issue to  
X2Go upstream BTS [1].

To work around that for now, set the user's locale environment in  
~/.profile. Thanks.
