If you want to use pinentry with gnupg-agent, then please get one of  
the pinentry-<xyz> packages that already provide pinentry.

If you want to login to an X2Go Server with X2Go Client and use GnuPG  
smart card authentication, then please
install pinentry-x2go, X2Go Client will know how to handle that  
pinentry(-x2go) dialog. The package pinentry-x2go only has this single  
use case.

The package pinentry-x2go is not intended to work with gnupg-agent or  
similar tools used with the common pinentry-<xxx> packages.

Or am I not getting your point (or you not mine).
