   * What led up to the situation?
I have installed xbmc for raspberry pi,
from raspbian distribution and when LCD tv is
turned on no option for CEC auto initialisation 
appears.
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

   * What was the outcome of this action?
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
I had earlier versions of xbmc from ubuntu which
had CEC functions enabled, but this raspbian
version seems to be without one. CEC function
is ment for syncronising with TV remote.
