It did not start for me either. Unfortunately there is no accepted way
of expressing that XBMC does not work with libgl1-mesa-swx11 using
dependencies.
Xbmc-bin already depends on libgl1-mesa-glx | libgl1, but libgl1 is
provided by libgl1-mesa-swx11, too.

I'll add a Breaks: libgl1-mesa-swx11 in the next upload which is not
fully compliant with Debian Policy, but it is the closest thing to what
needs to be expressed.
