I'm using a background picture list for backgrounds. I call `xfdesktop` every
hour from a cronjob. When xfdesktop selects a nonexistent wallpaper, it pops
up a dialog with an "OK" button. After the user presses the OK button, it sets
the background to the background color specified in the settings. However, I
often only realize this after multiple hours have passed. Consequently, a new
background has already been set, and when I press "OK", it replaces the
background with the monochromatic one.

Instead, xfdesktop should either leave the background as it was, or set it to
the monochromatic background when the defunct background is found, and then
provide the notification that the selected background doesn't exist. This
would prevent the constant frustration I have experienced with regards to this
functionality bug.
