No, no.  You misunderstand me.

When I built and uploaded for Debian I had autotools-dev installed.
That meant that when the diff.gz was built it had new config.sub and
config.guess in it.

Then when a buildd takes the package it takes the orig.tar.gz untars it,
applies the diff.gz and builds it.

So all the buildds will have used the new config.sub/guess.

I'll have a look later.  To add to the mystery I just found
/usr/include/xfce4/libxfcegui4/xinerama.h

Anyway, I'll investigate this evening.
