xfce4 by itself doesn't use dbus. It's a metapackage which depends on
other packages, some of them use dbus (thunar, xfdesktop, ...). 

dbus is really not necessary to use xfdesktop or thunar, but it's
required for trash applet. Post Etch I intend to make a separate
package, but for now I'll add the recommends.
