[Pkg-xfce-devel] thunar and desktop-file-utils

Hello,

Thunar uses "update-desktop-database" to update the default handlers for
mimetypes, which is part of the "desktop-file-utils" package.  If this
should be considered a dependency or not is open to interpretation I
guess, but "desktop-file-utils" is not in the recommended or suggested
packages either (when installing Thunar), and I think it should be,
since its absence limits functionality.

Sorry if this is not the appropriate place to file such a report.
