Did the /proc/net/wireless contents I sent to
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=370496 help you in
fixing the bug?

Btw, I also think that the problem might be triggered by updating the
kernel to 2.6.17.4 (from 2.6.15.X, I think).
