xfdesktop4 is present on all platforms. Current unstable version is

It has not been uploaded currently, yes.

Maybe you shouldn't have upgraded when apt told you that xfdesktop would
have been removed (i guess it's not installed anymore ?)

Set the severity to wishlist because it's not really a bug just a wish
for us to upload beta 2 version. (it'll be done tonight, though).
