Using J to jump to file, typing some text, then typing ESC brings me to
the full playlist view, so I don't really understand your problem.

In my opinion, it's consistent to have to keypresses to select the
second entry. If you only want to delete the first entry, you press down
once, then delete. With your proposal one would need to keypresses (down
then up), and it wouldn't be natural.

What do you think ?
