[Pkg-xfce-devel] Bug#357405: xfce4-panel: panel forgets entries when used with multi-head config

There is a problem with the panel on  multi-head (non Xinerama) setups. 
I can make changes to the panel on the second head (:0.1), but they are not 
remembered on the next login.  Changes to the panel on the first display (:0.0) 
are remembered.  The panel stores its configuration data under
~/.config/xfce4/panel in the contents.xml file, and copies this to
contents.xml.active while logged in.  It also creates a contents.xml.active.1 
file for the second head, but its contents are being derived from the defaults.
Basically, the panel is not properly saving the state of the second panel at 
session logout (yes I've tried saving the session).  It requires that you
reconfigure the panel after each login, and I consider that unusable for most
users.

I experience this problem on all multi-head systems, and it has been present
since at least the first 4.2 packages.  Currently I'm using xfce4-panel 4.2.3-1
from testing and unstable.
