[Pkg-xfce-devel] Bug#399462: xfce4-utils: Simple command rises CPU utilization permanently

The following command:

$ xfterm4 -fg red3 -bg honeydew2 -e /bin/su -

rises the CPU utilization permanently to something like:

  PID USER      PR  NI  VIRT  RES  SHR S %CPU %MEM    TIME+  COMMAND
 1935 jtocanci  25   0  111m  15m 9708 R 51.3  1.5   0:19.78 gnome-terminal

The command should show a Password prompt, but it doesn't. It just
hangs eating CPU.

In my case xfterm4 runs gnome-terminal:


$ sudo update-alternatives --config  x-terminal-emulator

There are 6 alternatives which provide `x-terminal-emulator'.

Using another alternative (e.g. uxterm) doesn't rises the CPU
utilization and the command works.
