I can't really understand "the mask for unlocking the screen"...

I can't reproduce this, here composite+xfwm+screensaver works fine.
(GLscreensaver or blank screen). If you don't lock the screen, does it
work ? Does your DRI/opengl configuration works fine besides that ? Can
you provide us more details about your configuration ?
