Assume that's true. Net based clients shouldn't ignore a network
problem without notice, then print garbage.
If changing between Imperial and Metric requires a bandwidth, then
whenever there's no bandwidth, (whatever the cause, a busy network, a
DOS attack, etc.), an error message should explain that the connection
failed.
NB: on 7/15/06 I noted that when 'ppp' was offline, (no outside IP),
X4WP behaved correctly for a client; there was no garbage data and it
had a tooltip saying "cannot update weather data". The question of
offline vs. online is settled. Rather this bug occurs when an
existing connection is too busy.
