it doesn't output anything.

in your previous mail you wrote that the theme should include better
icons, but unforunately in practice no theme except for Rodent includes
those icons[1].

including the hires-icon in xfce4-panel and notifying upstream might be
 most convenient for end-users, I think?

btw, if I use the Rodent-icon-theme, it works, but I don't like this
theme and its the only one which supplies those icons

[1] What the actionbuttons-plugin of xfce4-panel does is first look for
a "system-lot-out" icon, and if it wasn't found, it searches for the
"xfce-system-exit"-icon.
