[Pkg-xfce-devel] Bug#453059: libgtk2.0-0: buggy libpixbufloader-jpeg.so causes problems with Thunar file manager

Okay, I just tested eog and gqview and with them I can open both
pictures without problems. And they seem to use the file
libpixbufloader-jpeg.so because if I delete it they can't open jpeg
images anymore but other pictures like png for example.

So it really seems like the problem is the thunar thumbnailer
(thunar-vfs-pixbuf-thumbnailer-1). But isn't it a little bit strange
that it works with the older version of libpixbufloader-jpeg.so from
etch without this error? Maybe eog and gqview use different routines
from this file?

Well let's see what the thunar maintainers think about it.

bye
