Yeah that bit (deleted now) is in the SEGV signal handler.

I wonder if the real problem is:

So it does seem like a theme problem.

What theme engine are you using?  Have you done anything special like
installed your own themes?

I can't reproduce this with the fbx theme in unstable for what it's
worth.
