Well, /proc isn't really what files managers are made for, you know? If user
takes the responsibility to look there, those sort of thing can happen.

Best answer is: dont do that.

Sure it could be nice if Thunar reacted better, but I assume adding code for
corner cases like this isnt that useful. If you can submit a working patch for
this, with no side-effects, I guess upstream could look at it and eventually
integrate it. But I dont think those kind of issue deserves the (limited) time
they have.
