The plugin emits this error continuously when playing streaming content:

  (xfce4-xmms-plugin:12674): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_progress_set_percentage: assertion `percentage >= 0 && percentage <= 1.0' failed

When logging the output of an X session (for example, to
$HOME/.xsession-errors), this quickly consumes a lot of disk space.

I think it is probably this bug from 2006:
