It would be nice if this was multiple commits for each bit.  I try to do
that though don't always succeed.

(i.e. commit each bit with the changelog and then the relevant patch)

That's not what you did.  You removed a pointless sed of xfterm4 which
now uses exo-open.


Thanks for sorting this (and the other bits from Luk's rebuild) out
though.
