I've got a pair of screenshots that show the volume label I entered in
xfburn and what I get on the xfce4 desktop.  (checking with isoinfo
reveals the following:

CD-ROM is in ISO 9660 format

Volume set id: ETCH_POST_INSTALL
Publisher id: 
Data preparer id: XFBURN
Application id: XFBURN
Copyright File id: 
Abstract File id:

Volume set size is: 1
Volume set sequence number is: 1
Logical block size is: 2048
Volume size is: 1410
Joliet with UCS level 3 found
Rock Ridge signatures version 1 found

and with vol_id:

/lib/udev/vol_id --label /dev/cdrom
Etch-post_Instal

I double-checked the text box; it has two l's not just one.
