Well, the sysfs patch only looks for AC (ac adapter) so clearly in this
case it won't work.

Upstream is not interested to improve this patch (there's an hal branch
wich will surely become the next stable release). So there are two
solutions, I guess:
- someone (maybe me) improves the patch so it works in all cases
- we drop the patch completely, and only use procfs (wich is deprecated,
but will be supported for lenny, I hope)
