Hi,
_Every time_ I start an xfce session, xfce4-sensors-plugin shows an
annoying warning: it correctly guesses that hddtemp isn't setuid root on
my system, and it won't be without a very good reason.
So please consider:
1. Provide a method to disable the warning.
or even better
2. Make the plugin gets hard disks status data through the TCP protocol.
Hddtemp gives information on port 7634 (by default; you can customize
it) and no root privileges are needed.
Thanks for your time.
Regards,
Manolo
