And that's what's very strange, I found no segfault indicators nowhere. The
effect is exactly (picture, timing) the same if I clicked 'Quit->Logout' in
the Xfce panel. It exits X applications, then exists this session and starts
new one.

First time I thought I misclicked some icon, but then I used typing 'kvirc' in
 Alt+F2 window, and the same.

Have to say that I don't encounter this behavior last week (the versions of
kvirc and all xf*-related stay the same (except xfce4-terminal)). So, right
now I cannot reproduce too.
