Package: xfce4-power-manager
Version: 0.8.4-1
Severity: normal

For a while I have seen xfce4-power-manager disappear every now and when. I
have startet it in gdb and after a few days I got the following result:

======================================================================
Starting program: /usr/bin/xfce4-power-manager --no-daemon
[Thread debugging using libthread_db enabled]

(xfce4-power-manager:1659): xfce4-power-manager-WARNING **: could not map keysym 1008ffa8 to keycode

xscreensaver-command: no response to command.

The program 'xfce4-power-manager' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
  (Details: serial 23108 error_code 8 request_code 131 minor_code 6)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
   option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
   backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

Program exited with code 01.
(gdb)
======================================================================

I'm going to do as advised in the error message and report back when the
breakpoint triggers.

If anyone has any useful tips what I should do if the error happens again,
please tell me. I have no experience in debugging X applications.

Bye,
Jö.
