 Hi!
 The slowdown in workspace switching occurs when there are windows in that 
workspace. One window is enough to slow it down, but the more windows there 
are the slower it is to switch. None of the windows are terminals, however.
 I might try with the Nvidia proprietary driver to see if that's the problem.
