Can you show what you think thunar uses and what you think it should
use? Not that *gnome*-mime-application-x-python doesn't look that
standard, at first sight and doesn't appear in
http://standards.freedesktop.org/icon-naming-spec/icon-naming-spec-latest.html#mimetypes
