First, congrats for the release, thanks to everyone involved!

We'd like to upload Xfce 4.8 asap. I don't expect major disruption, but
that means quite a bunch of source upload, including a lot of panel
plugins which will have to migrate with the panel.

I intended to upload right to unstable, but as we have some packages
which have to go through NEW experimental might prevent some breakage so
if you prefer us to go that way, please say so :)
