[Pkg-xfce-devel] Bug#617470: xfdesktop4: Confirmed that 'startxfce4' works

I removed the symlink in /etc/xdg/menus and tried starting Xfce from a
virtual terminal.  I can confirm that 'startxfce4' gives me a session
with working menus.  Unfortunately, switching to another VT with
Ctl-Alt-F# crashes the session.

For now, I have restored the workaround symlink and have gone back to
using xdm.  (I'm trying to figure out how to enable the Shutdown and
Restart buttons....)
