Hi

It seems the patch in #15 is not complete. I have done the following:
* recompile xfce4-power-manager with this patch, install it, reboot
* disable systemd suspend in /etc/systemd/logind.conf, reboot
* set in xpm preferences to suspend on lid close when on battery
* closed the lid

no suspend ...

So it seems that this is still incomplete a fix, but at least the
battery display is updated, which is important for me.
