both of them. It worked as expected.

It had happened to me in 1.8.4 or so before...

i use kdm now, so i dont really see it everyday. It happened randomly
in the past after touching the conf... and i didnt report it... thats
why I said might be able to help reproduced it and provide more
info... but i wasnt able...

Maybe original OP is still able to reproduce it :)
