* What led up to the situation?
Burn fails on both the Mini and the Macbook Pro. OS-X works, K3b
works. Both Mini and Macbook are early Intel machines with CoreDuo
processors.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
xfburn continues inop.
* What was the outcome of this action?
Had to install the K libraries :-(
* What outcome did you expect instead?

Here's the results of starting xfburn from the command line:
