It's been 3 years in the making, but Igor's released 0.6.90 recently
with a bunch of neat enhancements that it'd be really great to see in
Debian! :)

Full changelog is available [1], but some of the highlights IMO are:

- VTE3 (text reflow on window resize)
- option for unlimited scrollback
- ability to zoom in/out by pressing Ctrl +/-
- new "MiscMiddleClickOpensUri" for disabling middle click opening URIs
