I just try to run gnome. It was worst.

With just the internal LCD of my laptop, gnome works correctly.
When I add my external monitor, the mouse move accross the two monitor
(and the desktop is also correctly spread on the two monitor) but I
cannot do anything else with the mouse : no reaction to any clic at
any position (no way to move existing windows (even on the internal
LCD), no reaction when the mouse is moved at the top left corner, ...)

I did not check gnome with my dual configuration monitor when it was
working with xfce before, so I cannot do any comparison. But the
result seems to show that it is not a pure xfce bug.

I also tried to reboot on my previous kernel (ie the one when it
worked, ie linux-image-4.4.0-rc8-amd64 (4.4~rc8-1~exp1)) that I did
not remove. No change with respect to the current kernel
(linux-image-4.4.0-trunk-amd64 (4.4-1~exp1)), so it also seems this
is not a pure kernel issue.

Any idea of other components to check and/or other tests to do ?

  Regards,
And many thanks for all of you that try to help me.
