Package: lightdm
Version: 1.18.1-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
I upgraded from Jessie to Testing after reboot instead of the login the screen
went blank.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
I was able to the login by dropping to the console ctl-alt-f1 then hitting ctl-
alt-f7
* What was the outcome of this action?
I got to the login
* What outcome did you expect instead?
It should load the login screen without doing this. If I do not drop to the
console right away the screen freezes then I need to do a reboot of the laptop.
I so see the following errors in lightdm.log
root at debian-ppc:/home/rican-linux# cat /var/log/lightdm/lightdm.log |grep -i
